Australia's Javert Hayden Tee Will Star in Les Miserables on Broadway

A Javert from Down Under will swear to the stars on Broadway. Hayden Tee, who currently plays Javert in the Australian production of Les Miserables, will assume the role on Broadway beginning January 29, 2016. Current Javert Earl Carpenter will play his final performance at the Imperial Theatre on January 24 and will go on to star in the Manila engagement.

Tee, a New Zealand native, played Marius in the 20th anniversary West End production of Les Miz. His additional credits include Australian productions of South Pacific, Titanic, Dead Man Walking and My Fair Lady. In the States, he has appeared in Camelot, Peter Pan and Being Earnest.

In addition to Carpenter, the current Broadway cast of Les Miz includes Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Montego Glover as Fantine, Brennyn Lark as Eponine, Chris McCarrell as Marius, Alexandra Finke as Cosette, Wallace Smith as Enjolras and Gavin Lee and Rachel Izen as the Thenardiers.
